51 changes, newest first

The week of 12 October 2026

12 October – 18 October 2026 · 51 changes

  1. Settings and subscriptionThe allowance window says what the allowance list is for

Settings, then Pay groups: the window for a new or changed allowance now says which allowances each pay group already pays, the sleepover allowance and kilometres among them, so the list holds your own allowances, such as first aid, laundry or a client loading.

For finance, owners · every sectorHelp: Pay groups
  2. Rostering and timesheetsA buddy’s Shadow Shift line covers their own time on the visit

Where your invoices carry a second line for a worker who is there to be trained (Settings, then Organisation), that line now covers the hours the buddy was on the visit: a buddy on the last two hours of a three-hour visit adds two hours, at the band those hours fall in.

A buddy on the visit’s own times adds the visit’s hours as before, and within a split visit the line covers each part the buddy was there for.

For finance, coordinators · every sectorHelp: Schedule
  3. Rostering and timesheetsFunding and revenue forecasts count a buddy’s Shadow Shift line

Where your invoices carry a second line for a worker who is there to be trained (Settings, then Organisation), the funding forecast on each plan and the revenue forecast now value that line on the visits ahead, for the hours the buddy is rostered on the visit.

For finance, owners · every sectorHelp: Forecast
  4. Rostering and timesheetsEach worker on a shared visit can have their own times

Where more than one worker is on a visit, the visit’s pay card on the roster sets a person’s own start, finish and break inside the visit’s times — someone who comes for the middle two hours of a four-hour visit, or for the first two hours of a morning routine.

Their row on the roster, their phone and calendar, their timesheet, payroll, Check hours, the reports’ hours, the award check and the roster’s clash checks all follow their own times, and they are told when their times change. The visit keeps its own times and bills on them.

For coordinators, finance, carers · every sectorHelp: Schedule
  5. Rostering and timesheetsWhen nobody clocks on: a reminder for the worker, then the office

Settings, then Attendance rules, has a new card, When nobody clocks on: switched on, it reminds a worker whose visit has started and who has not clocked on, then tells the office, or whoever is on call at that minute in the On-call register, each step a number of minutes after the worker’s own start, with a text where you tick it.

The steps stop as soon as the worker clocks on or the visit is cancelled or moved, the card shows how many of your visits in the last 14 days were never clocked on in Corella, and Roster, then Table, now counts Not clocked on from each worker’s own start.

Switched on in Settings, then Attendance rules, then When nobody clocks on

For coordinators, owners · every sectorHelp: Settings
  6. Care and clinical recordsThe AI summary names categories and statuses in words

A person’s AI summary now names each care signal’s category and severity, each incident’s type, severity and status, and the person’s program, funding and status in the words the screens use.

For coordinators, owners · every sectorHelp: Overview
  7. The carer appThe need-to-know brief shows each allergy’s severity as recorded

Each allergy recorded on a person’s Medical history reaches the brief read before a visit with its severity as recorded, such as "Peanuts — swelling of the throat (severe)", or "(severity not known)" where none was recorded, still listed by name.

For carers, coordinators · every sectorHelp: My shift
  8. Rostering and timesheetsThe award check judges the minimum engagement on each period of work

Visits one straight after another count together toward a part-time or casual worker’s minimum engagement, and a break that falls inside that minimum is time worked under the award: the roster counts it as worked, and says how to pay it on Timesheets, with Edit times.

Staff on pay groups that follow SCHADS are checked against it; a pay group set to another award, such as a nurses’ award, is left to that award.

For coordinators, finance, owners · every sectorHelp: Schedule
  9. Rostering and timesheetsThe roster’s day view says why a visit is marked for the award check

Pointing at the warning triangle on a visit in the roster’s day view shows each award finding in full, as the week view does, and every minimum-engagement finding names its day, so the Award check’s list for the whole period reads on its own.

For coordinators, finance, owners · every sectorHelp: Schedule
  10. Meals, consumables and vehiclesBatches that expire soonest offered first, with an alert before expiry

On a visit note the batch picker lists the batch that expires soonest first, each with its date.

A batch within 30 days of its expiry, or past it, raises an alert overnight for whoever manages supplies while its item is still held somewhere.

For carers, coordinators, owners · every sectorHelp: Consumables
  11. Billing, claims and fundingSwitch card payments on yourself, with your own Stripe account

Settings → Payments takes your own Stripe account’s keys: a restricted key, and the signing secret of the webhook you add in Stripe at the address the card shows. Corella checks the key with Stripe before keeping it and keeps both sealed — the card shows only the mode and the last four characters.

Then switch on Offer Stripe: a pay link for an invoice, and the participant’s share of a meal, are paid by card into your own Stripe account and on to your bank. The payer pays exactly what is owed; Corella adds no charge.

Switched on in Settings → Payments

For owners, finance · every sectorHelp: Payments
  12. Reports and forecastingWhat your consumables cost, by person, wound, case and contract

Each consumable used now keeps what it cost on the day, and four reports add it up — by person, by wound, by case and by contract — beside what was charged for it.

Where wound care is on, a consumable on a note, or in Record use, can say which wound it was for.

For coordinators, owners, finance · every sectorHelp: Reports
  13. Reports and forecastingRostered hours against contracts, and cancellations by who cancelled

Reports → Staff hours sets each person’s rostered hours against their part-time or full-time contract: the hours a week it promises, those hours over the period, and how much of them was rostered, a sleepover’s night counting none.

Reports → Cancellations says who cancelled each shift, the person or the practice, and Cancellations by who cancelled adds them up by side and reason; the dashboard shows the week’s figures for both.

For coordinators, finance, owners · every sectorHelp: Reports
  14. Billing, claims and fundingDelete the draft invoices you do not need

Invoices → Delete drafts clears draft invoices — a test run, a wrong batch — and puts what they held back into the next invoice run.

An invoice that was sent, paid, claimed or pushed to Xero is voided instead, as before.

For finance, owners · every sectorHelp: Invoices
  15. Incidents, safety and qualityInfection control: outbreaks, sharps and waste, aseptic technique

Operations → Infection control records an outbreak as a facility or a household declares it — what it is, the day it began and its instructions — and the people with a visit there in the coming week are told; each of those visits shows the notice on the worker’s visit screen.

The sharps and clinical waste register follows each container from in use to sealed to collected, with the collection docket, and an aseptic technique record is in the form library.

For coordinators, owners, carers · every sectorHelp: Infection control
  16. Incidents, safety and qualityLone-worker check-ins, with a silent duress PIN

Someone working alone sets a time to check in by — when their visit ends, or 30 minutes to 2 hours — and taps I’m safe; if they miss it, the person on call in the On-call register is alerted in Corella and on their phone, and the office too if nobody answers.

A duress PIN shows an ordinary check-in on their phone while the alarm goes out, and Safety alerts keeps every alert with who answered it and how it ended.

    Switched on in Communications → On-call register → Lone-worker check-ins

For carers, coordinators, owners · every sectorHelp: Safety alerts
  17. Meals, consumables and vehiclesOrder from your suppliers, and receive what comes

Consumables → Orders: a new order to a supplier for one place, with Add what is low here filling it from that place’s reorder points, and Copy for the supplier’s email or order form.

Receive puts what came straight into that place’s count, and the price paid becomes the item’s buy price.

For coordinators, owners · every sectorHelp: Consumables
  18. Care and clinical recordsA HEIC or AVIF photo is stored with its hidden location removed

A photo saved in the iPhone’s own HEIC format — or as HEIF or AVIF — is added with the location, the phone’s make and model and the time hidden inside it removed, whatever its file is named.

The picture itself is kept exactly as taken.

For carers, coordinators, owners · every sectorHelp: Progress notes
  19. Messages, forms and documentsA form’s questions beside the visit recording

A form set to Show its questions beside the visit recording lists them under Record the visit, so each one is asked out loud and the recording can fill the form.

After Fill from the recording, a question the recording did not answer is marked Not in the recording until it has an answer.

For carers, coordinators, owners · every sectorHelp: Forms
  20. Billing, claims and fundingCopy any quote to a new one, and send a quote from its row

Every quote’s Actions menu has Copy to a new quote: a new draft with its own number, dated today, with the same lines — whatever the earlier quote’s status.

Once a quote’s PDF is made, Send beside it emails the PDF to the quote’s own address, and a draft quote then reads Sent.

For coordinators, finance, owners · every sectorHelp: Quotes
  21. Meals, consumables and vehiclesSend stock from the store to a car or to a person’s own bag

Send stock on the stock tab moves consumables from one place to another; they are counted again when the receiver accepts them.

Stock sent to a person’s own bag waits for that person on Stock sent to you, where they accept it or decline what did not arrive.

For carers, coordinators, owners · every sectorHelp: Consumables
  22. Reports and forecastingStaff hours shows the hours its contract share is worked from

Reports → Staff hours has a Counted h column beside each contract’s share: the roster’s own count, a shift’s length less its break and a sleepover’s night none.

Rostered and Clocked hours still count every hour of a shift, so they compare like with like.

For coordinators, owners · every sectorHelp: Reports
  23. Meals, consumables and vehiclesCount the stock at a place, and write stock off with its reason

Consumables → Stock on hand has Count on each place: enter what is on the shelf, and each difference from what Corella expected is saved as a stocktake adjustment. Stock counts keeps every count line by line, the biggest shortfall first.

A write-off takes its reason: expired, damaged, contaminated, lost, or other with a note.

For coordinators, owners · every sectorHelp: Consumables
  24. Billing, claims and fundingProvider travel billing shows what it will charge before you save

Settings → Provider travel billing ends with an example: one 45-minute, 40 km drive to a visit, priced the way the invoice will price it with the switches, rates and limits as typed.

For finance, owners · every sectorHelp: Settings
  25. Rostering and timesheetsTravel to the next visit counts as paid time between visits

The award check counts a gap between visits that the travel time recorded to the next visit fills as paid time, so the visits read as one shift.

Any part of the gap the travel does not fill is still an unpaid break.

For coordinators, finance, owners · every sectorHelp: Schedule
  26. Billing, claims and fundingXero: the contact Xero already holds is used

The first time an invoice or a meal payment goes to Xero for someone, Corella uses the contact your Xero already holds under their exact name, and makes a new contact only when there is none — so the contacts already in your Xero are not doubled.

A contact under a different spelling is not matched: make the names agree first.

For finance, owners · every sectorHelp: Settings
  27. The carer appCorella on a phone’s home screen carries your organisation’s name

Corella added to a phone or tablet’s home screen is named after your organisation.

For carers · every sectorHelp: My work
  28. The carer appClock-on keeps only the fence check’s result

Clock-on and clock-off keep only whether the carer was inside the visit’s fence and how far away they were; the phone’s position serves that check alone.

For carers, coordinators · every sectorHelp: My shift
  29. Rostering and timesheetsStaff claim expenses outside a shift, paid back through pay

Staff claim money spent for work outside a shift under My work → My expenses, with a photo or PDF of the receipt if there was one, and whoever runs pay approves or declines each one under Payroll → Expense claims.

An approved claim is paid as a Reimbursement line in the first pay run that reaches the day it was spent.

For carers, finance · every sectorHelp: Expense claims
  30. Reports and forecastingThe forecast values a split visit the way it is billed

The forecast, and the funding a client has rostered ahead, value a split visit part by part, each part at its own line item, the way the invoice run bills it.

For coordinators, finance · every sectorHelp: Forecast
  31. Billing, claims and fundingNDIA claim batches check prices, plan dates and repeats first

Building an NDIA claim batch checks every line first — a price above the item’s limit for the day, a day outside the client’s plan as recorded on their service agreement, or the same support claimed twice — and names each line it finds.

Where a client’s plan is yet to be recorded, the batch is still made and the page names them.

  32. Staff, HR and trainingAn org chart drawn from each person’s Reports to

Edit profile → Reports to says who each staff member reports to, and Staff → Org chart draws everyone under their manager, ready to print.

For owners, coordinators · every sectorHelp: Org chart
  33. Settings and subscriptionA pay group can name its SCHADS classification

Settings → Pay groups → Award classification names a SCHADS group’s level and pay point, with its permanent and casual hourly rates.

The Setup page’s Award pay rates check then compares every band of each classified group with the award’s minimum.

Switched on in Settings → Pay groups → Award classification

  34. Care and clinical recordsA photo from a phone is stored with its hidden location removed

When a photo from a phone is added to a note, a form, a receipt or a document, Corella removes the location, the phone’s make and model and the time hidden inside it.

The picture itself, the right way up, and its colours are kept as taken.

For carers, coordinators, owners · every sectorHelp: Progress notes
  35. Staff, HR and trainingRecord each staff member’s right to work in Australia

Right to work, on a staff member’s Compliance tab, keeps each check you record — citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen or visa holder, with the day a visa’s work rights end, its conditions and the hours a fortnight it allows.

The roster warns when a shift falls after their work rights end or takes a fortnight past their hours, and the people who keep staff records are told 30 days before a visa’s work rights end.

For owners, coordinators · every sectorHelp: Compliance
  36. Rostering and timesheetsA shift’s clock offers only your practice’s minutes

The clock beside a shift’s Start and End offers the hours and only the minutes your practice works in, such as 00, 15, 30 and 45 at 15-minute steps.

Bulk edit shifts, a split’s parts and the shifts carers and families ask for use the same clock, and a time typed by hand rounds to the nearest step.

Switched on in Settings → Roster display → Shift times snap to

For coordinators · every sectorHelp: Schedule
  37. Rostering and timesheetsA sleepover across a clock change counts its eight hours

A sleepover is measured on your practice’s clock, so a 10 pm to 6 am night is eight hours on both daylight-saving nights.

On the April night the clocks go back, the extra hour is paid as worked time on its own line.

For finance, coordinators · every sectorHelp: Payroll
  38. Reports and forecastingStaff hours shows each person’s weekly maximum and busiest week

Reports → Staff hours adds Max a week, Busiest week h and Weeks over the max, one row a person, so you can see who has room and who went past their maximum.

The roster’s weekly hours warning counts a week the same way: each shift’s length less its break, with a sleepover’s night left out.

For coordinators · every sectorHelp: Reports
  39. Rostering and timesheetsReimbursable shift expenses are paid back in the pay run

A shift expense ticked reimbursable is paid back to the person who paid it, as a Reimbursement line on that shift’s pay.

For carers, finance · every sectorHelp: Payroll
  40. Your websiteYour website’s page words and resource files, kept in Corella

Website, then Pages, keeps the words of a page your website shows — its title and its sections, each a heading, paragraphs and a list, ticked for the sides of your site it shows on — and Website, then Resources, now takes a PDF as well as a link.

Your website reads them from Corella once it is switched over to them, so the people who keep them up to date work in Corella, not in the website itself.

For owners · every sectorHelp: Pages
  41. Care and clinical recordsName several people to keep allied health documents current

Under Allied health → Documents we ask for, you can name one or more people to keep providers’ documents current, and each of them is told 30 days and 7 days before a document lapses, and on the day.

For coordinators, owners · every sectorHelp: Allied health
  42. Messages, forms and documentsCall log follow-ups go straight to the client’s coordinator

A call log follow-up says what it is for — such as Shift change, Follow-up, Intervention or FYI — and goes to the client’s coordinator, who is told as soon as it is saved.

It stays on their dashboard under For you until it is done.

For coordinators · every sectorHelp: Call log
  43. Clients and intakeEvery client’s coordinator and DSL on one page

Clients → Coordinator allocation lists every client with their team’s coordinator and DSL under your own groups, with a CSV.

Change updates the ticked clients after a review, and Replace someone everywhere hands one person’s teams to someone else in one step.

For coordinators, owners · every sectorHelp: Coordinator allocation
  44. Clients and intakeFile notes keep dated records of discussions about staff and clients

File notes record a discussion or meeting about a staff member or a client — when it happened, its kind, who was there and what was said or agreed — with who wrote it shown on every note.

Coordinators add them, administrators read them all, a correction sits beneath the note it corrects, and Print gives one note or a person’s whole file.

For coordinators, owners · every sectorHelp: File notes
  45. Clients and intakeIntake and risk assessment answers wait on the device for signal

An open intake or risk assessment keeps each answer on the device as it is typed.

When the signal drops, saving says “Kept on this device — not yet sent”, and the answers send by themselves once the signal returns.

For coordinators, carers · every sectorHelp: An intake
  46. Clients and intakeAn intake fills more of the client’s draft plan

Ticking the intake’s box to create a draft plan now starts the plan with every answer that has a place in it — communication and language, mobility, mealtime, health and allergies, behaviour support, their story and who helps them decide.

Each section is marked From the intake, to check with the client before the plan is made active.

For coordinators · every sectorHelp: Intake
  47. Rostering and timesheetsA refused clock-on is recorded and the office told

Where the clock-on fence refuses a clock outside it, each refused attempt is listed on Timesheets and the shift’s Timesheets panel with how far away it was, and the office is told the first time.

Each client’s page says whether their home has a clock-on fence, and how to give it one.

Switched on in Settings → Attendance rules → Allow a clock-on or clock-off outside the geofence (off)

For coordinators, carers · every sectorHelp: Timesheets
  48. Rostering and timesheetsAdd travel to a split shift with one press

The Split window’s Travel at the start and Travel at the end add a 30-minute travel part, billed at the line item of the support beside it as a travel claim.

Its list offers the line items a part can bill, and for that person the travel part is their travel time.

For coordinators, finance · NDISHelp: Schedule
  49. Staff, HR and trainingAdd a new hire’s website photo as you convert them to staff

When Convert to staff shows a new hire on your public website, it now takes their photo for the website too, for anyone who may edit your website.

For owners, coordinators · every sectorHelp: Recruitment
  50. Clients and intakeA weekly email tells families their coming week is ready

Weekly reminder, on a client’s Portal access card, emails everyone with a portal login for that client, each week on the day you choose, that their coming week is ready, with the link to sign in.

Print their coming week, on the same card, prints that client’s published visits on their own.
