  2. Settings and subscriptionA pay rate far above its weekday rate is caught as a typing slip

A pay group rate more than four times its weekday rate is refused in the editor, named on the Settings card and the Setup page, and a pay run that would use it stops until it is corrected.

For finance, owners · every sectorHelp: Pay groups
  3. Settings and subscriptionShiftworker pay groups for weekday evening and night shifts

With Staff on this group are engaged as shiftworkers ticked on a SCHADS pay group, a weekday shift that finishes after 8 pm and by midnight is paid the evening rate for all of its hours, and one that finishes after midnight or starts before 6 am the night rate for all of its hours.

Weekend and public holiday hours keep their own rates; tick it for staff you have told in writing that they are shiftworkers.

Resolving or closing a complaint asks for its outcome first — what was found and what was done.

For coordinators · every sectorHelp: Complaints
  9. Meals, consumables and vehiclesRecord a consumable’s use with the day and where it came from

Record use, on Consumables, takes the day it was used and the place it was taken from, so stock on hand moves with it.

For coordinators · every sectorHelp: Consumables
  10. Billing, claims and fundingSupport coordination claims count the notes they will take

Support coordination claims counts only the notes a batch will take, and says before you press how many billable notes it leaves out and why.

For coordinators, finance · NDISHelp: Support coordination claims
  11. Billing, claims and fundingCorrect a rejected NDIA claim line and claim it again

A released rejected line waits under Rejected lines to claim again, where its item number, quantity or unit price can be corrected, and goes into the next batch whatever its date.

A reconciled batch lists the rejected lines with the NDIA’s reason and the part-paid ones with what was paid.

  12. Care and clinical recordsAsking a colleague to countersign a note tells them

For coordinators · every sectorHelp: Progress notes
  13. Clients and intakeConverting a lead or completing an intake checks for duplicates

Converting a lead and completing an intake run the same duplicate check as a referral: a lead can be linked to the record it matches, an intake can open that record instead, and either can go ahead as a different person.

For coordinators · every sectorHelp: Intake & CRM
  14. Billing, claims and fundingExtend an AT-HM grant within its tier’s rules

Extend, beside End funding and Cancel funding on an active AT-HM grant, moves its end date later, up to its tier’s longest, with what the extension rests on recorded.

  19. Settings and subscriptionThe award check flags a sleepover longer than your limit

The award checks’ Longest sleepover (hours, 0 = no limit) is 8 hours unless you change it.

A longer sleepover is flagged on the roster, which says to roster the hours either side as their own shifts, and a pay run that includes one stops, naming each carer and night.

Switched on in Settings → Attendance rules → Longest sleepover (hours, 0 = no limit)

For coordinators, finance · NDIS, Aged careHelp: Attendance rules

For finance, coordinators · NDISHelp: A client's record
  27. Billing, claims and fundingEvery plan-managed invoice has a tab and reaches a statement
