My work

The carer's own home screen: today's shifts, and the things waiting on them.

Updated 15 October 2026Corella’s help for this screen, word for word

Step by step

  1. Clock on and off from the shift card.
  2. Clocking on may first show what is recorded under Need to know for the client on the shift — read it and confirm, and the clock starts.
  3. Open a shift to see its instructions and tasks, and to write your progress note.
  4. Ask for a shift, where your organisation has switched it on: pick one of your own clients — someone on a team you're on, or someone you've visited in the last 12 weeks — or your own time, then the day and the times. The office books it or declines it and you get a notice either way; Your requests shows where each one stands, and Withdraw takes back one still waiting.

Ask for a shift

Ask the office for a shift with one of your own clients, or for your own time.

  • Only your own clients are offered: someone on a team you're on, or someone you've visited in the last 12 weeks.

Can't do this visit?

  • The office is told straight away with your reason, and the visit comes off your list — call them if it is urgent.
