Rostering and timesheets

Timesheets

Approve worked time for payroll and billing.

Updated 15 October 2026Corella’s help for this screen, word for word

Module:
Service delivery & rostering, switched on in Settings → Modules
Access:
Roster and shifts at Office, set by role in Settings → Roles

Step by step

  1. Approve from the scheduled times, or from the clocked times where they differ.
  2. Query anything that looks wrong before approving — approval is what pays it.
  3. A shift's own form approves it too: open the shift on the roster, and its Timesheets panel offers the same Approve and Undo, with the same flags.

Tips

  • Approving is the moment the hours become pay. Once a timesheet is in a payroll batch it is locked.
  • Where your organisation refuses a clock outside the geofence, every refused attempt is listed there too — when, and how far away — and the office is told the first time, so the time can be recorded if the worker was really there.
  • Where the national address file found only the street, someone in the office can confirm the street's point for that home; it lapses when the address changes.

Edit recorded times

Correct the start, finish or break on one carer's shift before it is approved.

  • This is somebody's pay.
  • Once the entry is in a payroll batch it is locked, and the correction has to happen in payroll instead.
