An incident

One incident end to end — the report, the triage, the actions and the close-out.

Step by step

  1. Close-out records who signed the incident off and when, the day the investigation was completed and the day the family was told. The PDF and the register print all three.

On this screen

Add follow-up action

An action arising from the incident, with an owner and a due date.

Mark incident reportable

Flag the incident as one that must be reported — to the NDIS Commission, or for a person in aged care to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (SIRS).

  • Marking it starts the clock the register tracks.

Close incident

Close the incident with an outcome.

Record 24-hour notification

Record that the 24-hour notification was made, and when — on SIRS, the Priority 1 notice.

Record the second step

Record the NDIS 5-business-day report, SIRS Priority 1's additional information (5 days), or SIRS Priority 2's notice (30 days).

This is the help Corella shows on this screen, word for word, written in its default words: client and carer.
