A wound

One wound over time — measurements, photographs and treatment.

Step by step

  1. Add an assessment at each visit; the trend is drawn from the measurements you enter.
  2. Attach as many photographs as the visit needs. The first box is the one that represents the visit and appears in the first-against-latest pair; the rest go in More photographs and all of them appear on the strip.
  3. Give a photograph a caption when it needs one — which site, before or after a dressing change — because eleven pictures of one wound are only useful if you can tell them apart.

Tips

  • The area and percentage change are arithmetic on your measurements.
  • A band and a measurement are shown differently on purpose, and the screen says which one it has. If you know the exact score or the exact date, type that instead and it is what the chart uses.
  • Wound photographs are office-only.
