Step by step

  1. Open an incident to triage it, assign it and record the outcome.

Tips

  • Reportable incidents have statutory timeframes.
  • Everyone who manages incidents is reminded before each date: 12 hours before the 24-hour notification falls due, and a day before the second report. A follow-up action's owner is reminded the day before it is due. Reminders come between 8 am and 8 pm on the practice's clock — one that would fall at night comes at 7 pm the evening before — in the app, and by email where urgent emails are on.

  • A prompt partial report beats a late complete one.
