A complaint's handling

What a complaint or piece of feedback is about, each issue it raises with its own action and outcome, and the record of how it was handled.

Step by step

  1. Choose what it is about, so the trends and the governing body's report count it.
  2. Add each issue it raises. For each, write what was done and its outcome, then Mark resolved.
  3. Add to the handling record as it happens: who was consulted, the person complained about given the chance to respond, a referral to another body (with the incident's number if it became one), an improvement made, how well it worked, and training given.

Tips

  • A supporter — family, a guardian — is consulted only with the person's consent: tick that they consented.
  • Add a new step to correct an earlier one.

This is the help Corella shows on this screen, word for word, written in its default words: client and carer.
