Step by step
- Urgent referrals sort to the top, and the oldest rises within each urgency.
- Open one to read every field the referrer filled in and any documents they attached.
- Set the urgency and where it has got to.
- Settings → Website → Referral intake decides what a completed form does. Off (the default), every form waits here.
Tips
- Three screens sit together in the menu. The Intake queue holds what arrived from outside and waits to be triaged. Intake, just above it, is the guided form you fill in yourself to set up a new client. Intake & CRM tracks enquiries from first contact.
- With automatic record creation on, a form that waited says why in the notification — a possible duplicate, or a name that needs a look. Those are the ones to open first.
- Declining a referral needs a reason recorded, because the referrer and the client are both entitled to an answer.

Triage a referral
Read the whole referral, then record how urgent it is and where it has got to.
- Setting the urgency IS the triage — it records that you, by name, made that call at that time.
- A decline needs a reason. It is stored with the referral so anybody answering the referrer can see why.
Send registration form
- Choose who will fill it in first — the person themselves, a hospital or an aged-care facility — because that decides which fields the form shows.
- A link works for 14 days and can be used once. What comes back waits here for review, unless your organisation has set a completed form to create the record (Settings → Website); then a clear new name becomes a record straight away.
This is the help Corella shows on this screen, word for word, written in its default words: client and carer.
