One payment, what it has been matched to, and what is left of it.

Step by step

  1. Fill oldest first proposes a split across that payer's outstanding invoices.
  2. Change any number before matching. Part of an invoice is fine, and so is spreading one payment across several.
  3. Unmatch takes an amount back off an invoice. The money stays on the payment, unmatched.

Tips

  • Only issued and sent invoices with money owing are offered.
  • Unmatching an invoice that was marked paid puts it back to issued. It is owed again, and the ageing report will show it.
  • Deleting a payment is refused while anything is matched to it.
