The week of 19 October 2026
19 October – 25 October 2026 · 43 changes
Getting startedThe audit log says what happened in words
Each entry in the audit log says what happened ("Support at Home statement opened", "HR case raised"), what it was about ("Support at Home participant", in your practice’s word for the people you support) and its summary with dates and counts in words ("2 invoices for Thu 15 Oct 2026 – Tue 20 Oct 2026").
The exact entry as it was stored is kept: hover over a summary to read it, and the action’s key sits small under its words for the Action filter. A shift’s activity, the price book’s history and the claims page’s batch names read the same way.
For owners · every sectorGetting startedThe audit log names people and records
Where an audit entry pointed at a person, a contact, a service, a contract, an applicant or a shift by its system id, the audit log and a shift’s activity say its name, and a change of status reads in words ("Received → In progress").
The entry as it was stored is kept: hover over a summary to read it.
For owners · every sectorGetting startedCards, tables and rows stay inside their box at every width
A payer’s rate cards, a case’s documents, a client’s contacts, calls and documents from outside, and the leads board’s cards each sit inside their card on a laptop and a phone, and the forecast’s figures show in full.
Payments received is the one page lit in the menu while you are on it, and a payment’s amounts read with their thousands separators.
For owners, coordinators, finance · every sectorGetting startedEach practice reads its own sector’s words
Aged-care and nursing practices see their own sector’s words. The ID column on the client list is headed by what it holds (an NDIS number, an aged care ID or both), an incident names the one Commission it goes to (the NDIS Commission or SIRS), and leads, intake and a new client ask a person’s NDIS number or My Aged Care ID only for their program, starting on the practice’s own program and funding.
An invoice shows the NDIS registration when it is an NDIS invoice, a care plan’s section about the person is "My health" outside the NDIS, meal products show their GST in words, and the sign-in screen, the contacts directory, the call log’s callers, document categories, a new quote and an upload’s example follow the practice. In Settings, the NDIS prices tab, the NDIS registration number and the plan-manager portal show where the practice prices NDIS supports.
For owners, coordinators, finance, carers · every sectorGetting startedAn incident’s escalation chain names staff only
Settings → Incident reporting’s escalation chain offers only your staff to notify, each with their level’s name. A client’s or a family member’s portal login is never offered and is refused if one was chosen before.
For owners, coordinators · every sectorRostering and timesheetsHour caps over a fortnight, four weeks or a month
A staff member’s profile can hold a cap over a longer period — a fortnight or four weeks counted from your pay fortnight, or a calendar month — beside their daily and weekly caps, and the roster warns when a shift would take them past it.
Under Roster display, Warn before an hour cap is reached adds a warning from 80, 90 or 95% of any cap. The weekly cap counts your pay week.
Switched on in Settings → Roster display → Warn before an hour cap is reached
For owners, coordinators · every sectorHelp: ScheduleGetting startedLists fit their page on a laptop, long words on a second line
Where a list holds a subject, a summary, an address or a long name — Communications, Complaints, Contacts, Quotes, Risk assessments, Timesheets, Training, Forms, Margins, Care signals, the Audit log, Documents and others — those words take a second line, so every column is in view without scrolling sideways.
On a laptop the On-call and Restrictive practices pages show their side panels under the register, and the Support at Home quarter report keeps each participant’s name in view while its figures scroll.
For owners, coordinators, finance · every sectorGetting startedDates read one way everywhere
A date is written the same way on every screen, printout and email: "1 Jul 2026", the month in three letters and the day without a leading zero.
A month written out in a sentence ("from 1 July 2026") is still written in full.
For owners, coordinators, finance, carers · every sectorGetting startedFields, tables and cards show their values whole
Fields show their whole value: an on-call escalation chain’s names and numbers, a recruitment referee, a service’s GST, the roster’s travel rule, a case’s site, a report’s name and the search box’s hint. Labels line up with the fields beside them, and a card is as tall as what it holds.
Email addresses break at the @ and the dots, never mid-word. Table columns are wide enough to read: a timesheet’s travel, the roster table and Support at Home’s services. A file picker looks like the app’s own button, and a chart with two lines says which is which.
For owners, coordinators, finance · every sectorGetting startedOn a phone, statements, summaries and funding lines fit the screen
A Support at Home monthly statement lists each service as a short block on a phone — the date, the units, the service, then its price, the person’s rate, their contribution and the subsidy claimed — with the month’s totals beneath.
A client’s AI summary flags, a case’s funding line and a worker’s timesheet rows wrap inside their box on a narrow screen.
For owners, coordinators, finance, carers · every sectorGetting startedStates, dates and counts read as words
A case’s appointments and invoices, a care plan and its reports, a wound’s stage and status, a leave request, a service’s unit and GST, and an invoice line’s claim type show their state in words, and a count reads "1 staff member" or "3 applicants".
Claim batches, Reports and a form’s responses show dates as "15 Oct 2026" on the screen; their spreadsheets keep the form that sorts.
For owners, coordinators, finance, carers · every sectorGetting startedLists fit a laptop’s screen
On a laptop, no column of a list is squeezed to a word a line: invoices, payers and their contracts, referrals, users, leave requests, a staff member’s documents and Documents keep their words readable.
The roster table shows each day over its date, and HR’s leave and cases and the timesheets fit inside their card without scrolling sideways.
For owners, coordinators, finance · every sectorGetting startedEvery screen uses your practice’s word for the people you support
Every screen uses the practice’s own word for the people it supports, whether patient, participant or client. That includes the job board’s reasons, setup checks, the printed roster, the audit log, browser tab titles and the AI operations brief.
For owners, coordinators, finance, carers · every sectorGetting startedA wound’s site and an overdue review in plain words
A wound’s body site, an interview’s status, a staff case and a leave request on your own profile, and the NDIS item on an invoice run’s preview are said in words. A wound review past its day is marked Overdue.
The call log’s starter list of callers and the meals settings use your practice’s word for the people you support, and Settings → Documents and a form’s "Applies to" offer only the programs your practice and its people use.
For owners, coordinators, carers · every sectorGetting startedOn a phone, words beside a button get their own line
Where a row puts a button or a badge beside its words — a client’s handover and risks, an incident’s follow-up actions, a payer’s card, an expense claim, a program’s sessions, the people on this week — the button moves under the words on a narrow screen, so they read as sentences rather than one word a line.
Buttons that ran off the right of the screen, such as Start onboarding, now wrap onto the next line.
For owners, coordinators, finance, carers · every sectorRostering and timesheetsThe broken-shift allowance checked from roster to pay run
Approving a broken-shift day whose timesheets have no unpaid breaks recorded says so, the Payroll preview names any such day before a run is created, and a second count on the same day is refused, so the allowance is paid once.
The Setup page compares the two-break broken-shift amount with the award too, and the award check marks a broken shift red for a pay group outside disability services, where the SCHADS award allows none.
For owners, coordinators, finance · NDIS, Aged careHelp: TimesheetsRostering and timesheetsDouble time after a short rest, and past a broken shift’s span
With overtime paid in pay runs, a shift that starts less than your break between shifts after the last one ends is paid at double time until a full break, as the SCHADS award says, and casual staff are paid as before.
Work in a broken shift past your shift span, counted from its first start, is paid at double time too, and an hour that already pays more, such as a public holiday’s, keeps its own rate.
Switched on in Settings → Attendance rules → Pay overtime in pay runs
For owners, finance · NDIS, Aged careHelp: Attendance rulesRostering and timesheetsFour hours’ work beside each sleepover, checked and paid
The roster’s award check names a sleepover with less than 4 hours’ work immediately before or after it: the SCHADS award requires 4 hours beside every sleepover, rostered or paid.
With Pay the minimum engagement in pay runs switched on, a pay run pays the rest of the 4 hours beside it, at the rate of the hours it would have filled.
Switched on in Settings → Attendance rules → Pay the minimum engagement in pay runs
For owners, coordinators, finance · NDIS, Aged careHelp: Attendance rulesRostering and timesheetsMake-up time for a shift a client cancels within seven days
When a client cancels within seven days, the Cancel window says what the SCHADS award allows for part-time and full-time staff on the shift: they are paid it, given other work in its hours, or — told at least 12 hours before it starts — given make-up time instead, ticked person by person.
Make-up time owed shows on the person’s page under Staff, to be worked within six weeks, and a pay run leaves that cancelled shift unpaid for them.
For owners, coordinators, finance · NDIS, Aged careHelp: ScheduleRostering and timesheetsA meal break past five hours of work, checked on the roster
More than five hours of work — visits straight after one another count together — with no break of at least 30 minutes, or with a break longer than an hour, is marked for review on the roster, and the shift window asks you to confirm when you save one.
The SCHADS award gives an unpaid meal break of 30 to 60 minutes past five hours of work: set the break on the shift, or a worker’s own break under their pay. A meal with a client as part of the work is paid time instead.
Switched on in Settings → Attendance rules → Meal break
For owners, coordinators · NDIS, Aged careHelp: ScheduleRostering and timesheetsThe minimum engagement paid in pay runs, and 3 hours by stream
Switch on Pay the minimum engagement in pay runs, under SCHADS award checks in Settings, then Attendance rules, and a part-time or casual employee’s period of work shorter than the minimum engagement is topped up to it, with the time between two visits inside one period of work paid as worked, each on a line of its own.
A pay group whose staff do social and community services work outside disability services can be ticked as such in Settings, then Pay groups: its part-time and casual staff are then held to 3 hours, on the roster’s award check and in pay runs.
Switched on in Settings → Attendance rules → Pay the minimum engagement in pay runs
For owners, finance · NDIS, Aged careHelp: Attendance rulesSettings and subscriptionOn-call allowances checked against the award
The Setup page compares each SCHADS pay group’s four on-call amounts with the award’s on-call allowance — the weeknight one with its Monday-to-Friday amount, Saturday’s, Sunday’s and a public holiday’s with its amount for any other 24 hours — and names any below it.
The pay group window shows the award’s two amounts beside the on-call rates.
Switched on in Settings → Pay groups → On call
For owners, finance · NDIS, Aged careHelp: Pay groupsRostering and timesheetsOrdinary hours averaged over the pay fortnight or four weeks
Under SCHADS award checks in Settings, then Attendance rules, Averaged over sets whether the ordinary hours per week count each pay week, over the pay fortnight (76 hours with 38 a week) or over four weeks (152 hours), as your arrangement with staff allows.
The weekly hours check on the roster, and overtime pay when you pay it in pay runs, both count over the period you choose.
Switched on in Settings → Attendance rules → Averaged over
For owners, finance · NDIS, Aged careHelp: Attendance rulesRostering and timesheetsThe overtime meal allowance in pay runs
With overtime paid in pay runs, overtime worked more than an hour past the rostered finish pays the award’s meal allowance, and a second one past four hours.
Turn off Pay the overtime meal allowance in Settings, then Attendance rules, if you supply a meal instead.
Switched on in Settings → Attendance rules → Pay the overtime meal allowance
For owners, finance · NDIS, Aged careHelp: Attendance rulesRostering and timesheetsPublishing a roster says when it is under two weeks ahead
Where the roster is drafted and then published, publishing says when part-time or full-time staff have shifts in a roster period starting less than two weeks away: the SCHADS award asks for the roster to be posted at least two weeks before its period starts.
It publishes anyway, casual staff are exempt, and the note follows Roster notice under the award checks in Settings, then Attendance rules.
Switched on in Settings → Attendance rules → Roster notice
For owners, coordinators · NDIS, Aged careHelp: ScheduleRostering and timesheetsSeven days’ notice of a roster change, asked as you save
Putting a part-time or full-time worker on a shift that starts within seven days, or moving the times of one they are on, asks you to confirm before it saves: the SCHADS award gives permanent staff seven days’ notice of a roster change.
Pick the award’s reason under the warning — a swap they asked for, cover for illness or an emergency, or extra hours a part-timer agreed to — and it goes on the shift’s Activity tab.
Switched on in Settings → Attendance rules → Roster notice
For owners, coordinators · NDIS, Aged careHelp: ScheduleRostering and timesheetsWork during a sleepover paid as overtime, at least an hour
With overtime paid in pay runs, the awake time recorded on a sleepover’s timesheet is paid at your overtime rates for the day the sleepover starts, with at least an hour paid, beside the sleepover allowance.
Switched on in Settings → Attendance rules → Pay overtime in pay runs
For owners, finance · NDIS, Aged careHelp: Attendance rulesRostering and timesheetsA short unpaid break on the roster is checked: the tea break is paid
A break under 30 minutes on a shift comes off the paid hours, and the SCHADS award pays the tea break — 10 minutes in each four hours worked, counted as time worked — so the award check marks it for review: set the break to none, or to a meal break of 30 minutes or more.
Switched on in Settings → Attendance rules → Tea break

For carers, coordinators, finance, owners · every sectorStaff, HR and trainingAsk a referee by link, and their answers come back to review
An applicant’s References now has Ask a referee: the referee gets their own link to the same questions, answers on a phone or computer with no account to make, and the link works for 14 days, with one reminder after 3 days when Corella can email.
Their answers arrive on the applicant as a reference marked To review, with anything worth a second look shown beside it, such as a referee whose email or phone is the applicant’s own, or answers given in under a minute.
For owners, coordinators · every sectorHelp: RecruitmentSettings and subscriptionError reports leave without anyone’s session, keys or tokens
When something goes wrong, the error report Corella sends to its error monitoring now leaves without cookies, sign-in or key headers, query strings or the one-use tokens in links: only the error itself and the page it happened on.
For owners · every sectorRostering and timesheetsOvertime paid in pay runs, by your own rule
Settings, then Attendance rules, can now pay overtime in pay runs: the hours past a day’s ordinary hours, counted on the day a shift starts, and then past the pay week’s, the first hours at one rate and the rest at another, or at the hour’s own rate where that is higher, as on a Sunday or a public holiday.
Overtime is paid to SCHADS pay groups and never to contractors, each overtime line carries its rate’s code so it reaches Xero on the earnings rates you already have, and it stays off until you switch it on.
Switched on in Settings → Attendance rules → Pay overtime in pay runs
For owners, finance · NDIS, Aged careHelp: Attendance rulesBilling, claims and fundingSupport at Home statements, quarter report and price report
Support at Home now makes each participant’s monthly statement from what their invoices charged: the quarter’s budget, care management, rollover and supplements, what was available at the start of the month and what remains at its end, and every service by its service-list name with its contribution and the subsidy claimed. Statements prints a month’s for everyone at once.
Quarter report shows each participant’s quarter and the hours delivered by service type, and Price report each service’s most frequently charged price for a 2-month period in the five time bands, both with a spreadsheet. Match each service to the Support at Home service list under Settings, then Support at Home.
For finance, coordinators, owners · Aged careHelp: Support at HomeSettings and subscriptionA yearly plan ended early runs to the end of its month
Under the Corella Subscription Terms of 22 October 2026, a yearly plan can be ended early on the Subscription page: it runs to the end of the month of the plan you’re in, and everything keeps working until then.
The months used are charged at the monthly price for the same plan, and anything you paid beyond that is refunded to your card within 10 business days of the day it ends; a practice that agreed to earlier terms keeps them.

Funding shows a person with no NDIS plan and no Support at Home budget who funds each of their open episodes of care and how much of each approval is used, and when nothing is recorded it says so plainly.
For families, coordinators · every sectorHelp: OverviewStaff, HR and trainingReference checks in Recruitment, with questions for each position
Recruitment, then Reference questions, keeps a set of questions for each kind of position, so reception can ask referees different questions from a support role, and each job opening chooses its set under its title; until you add a set, referees are asked a standard set of eight questions.
From the Reference check stage, an applicant’s window has References: record each referee, the day you spoke, an answer to each question and the outcome, print them all on one page, and once you convert the applicant to staff their references are on their staff record too.
