Rostering and timesheets

Events

Staff meetings, training days, outings and town halls: invite staff, clients, their families and your contacts, and see who is coming.

Access:
Roster and shifts at Manage, set by role in Settings → Roles

Step by step

  1. New event: its name and what it is, the day and times, in person (an address) or online (a meeting link), how many places, whether a guest may come, and up to five questions of your own.
  2. Choose who is invited, mostly by group: all staff, staff by role or team; all clients, their teams or how they are funded, with the contacts on their records; the allied health providers you work with; your contacts; and anyone else as a guest — a name and email a line, or a pasted list. Add one more person by typing their name. Before anything is sent, the form says how many will be invited and lists them, and Leave out takes anyone off.
  3. Make the event and everyone chosen is emailed the invitation with a calendar file. Tick Also save them to Contacts to keep this event's guests for next time; otherwise a guest is kept on this event only.
  4. For one-on-ones, tick One-on-ones: each person picks a time, then choose how long each time is, how many to offer and the break between. Each person invited chooses a free time from their email or in Corella, and a time taken is gone for everyone else.

Tips

  • A client's family and your contacts are told only what the event says — its name, what it is, when and where.

New event

The event — its name, what it is, the day and times, where (an address, or a meeting link for an online one), the places, a guest, your own questions — and who is invited. Making it emails every invitation with a calendar file.

  • What it is is read by everyone invited, families and your contacts included — write it for them.
  • Tick Staff attend as paid time for a staff meeting or a training day: each staff member ticked Arrived on the day gets its time on their timesheet.
  • Tick Take questions for the host beforehand for a town hall: each person invited may send up to three with their answer, and only the office sees them.
  • Tick One-on-ones: each person picks a time for supervision, reviews or family check-ins. The times run back to back from the start, each for one person, and the event ends when the last one does.

Add times

More times at a one-on-one: a day, the first start, how long each time is, how many and the break between. Those invited see the new times straight away.

  • A new time sits apart from every time already offered, and the event then runs from its first time to its last.
